Anyhow, i bought this for $345(including overnight shipping) from NewEgg.com
My intent was to get the best Video Card I could get for under $350 for use with my new copy of Half Life 2 (CANT WAIT 1 day!) Did I get a good deal? Or did I fubar myself this time?

ohh... BTW I am upgrading from a TI4200 Nvida card 128 MB.

No problem, good luck with the card. BTW Get the 4.12 Beta Drivers from ATI if you want real good performance in HL2. They give big boost.

Everyday... married, 4 kids, oldest is kid is 5 1/2. When you get your new card, I'd like to hear how it performs on your system. My current rig is very similar to yours and I'm looking at a similar upgrade.
 
I bought the same card from outpost three weeks ago, its still on backorder. They claimed that ATI had missed their last order and they had no idea when more would come.
