I was in nearly the same boat - but went with a $200 5870. We'll see how long I can squeeze this Kentsfield 
Not that a Sandy Bridge setup wouldn't be awesome - with a MC in town, I could get a mobo and processor (2400, good for 3.99Ghz) for less than $300. In my case, that would have been silly with 4830 x-fire, however.

Also agree to those who say 1.5V ram. Seriously, do yourself a favor. The extra percentage points of performance aren't worth the headaches "ricer ram" brings to the table. IMHO, of course
