I'm installing an Elsa Gladiac - nVidia Ultra...to replace my Creative Annihilator Pro.

Whats the best way to remove everything relating to the old video card (in WindowsME) to give me the cleanest possible start for the new card? I was using the 7.52(WHQL) drivers and intend to use them with the new card.

Go to My computer, properties, Device Manager.

Select Display Adapters, Creative GBXXXX, Remove.

Shut down your computer, unplug PS, remove CL GTS Pro, install your new card.

Start 'er up. Windows will recognize the card through Plug n Play. Windows will search for drivers, go "Have disk" and guide windows to the locale of your Detonator 7.52.

Viola!!

tates...

I'm assuming you meant me to change the video adapter to standard vga BEFORE i uninstall the device... correct? And... will removing the device remove all the registry references too?

Yes, Standard VGA.

If you installed the Blaster software, an uninsatll should clean up your registry.
