New video card choice with XP

I've been looking a VC for a while to replace my aging Diamond 540III. I just installed XP and I'm getting lockups that point to the video drivers. Anyway what would you guys go with? I would like to use my ATI TV Wonder VE with the new card. It has never worked right with the Diamond. But it's not that big of a deal. I would like to stay in the <$150 range if I can. Not much of a gamer, but do a lot of the typical business stuff and photo editing, would like to go with something good with DVD.

Help me out,

if your not playing much games and you'd like good 2D quality and DVD support then I'd suggest the Radeon LE or the Matrox G450 would be best suited to your requirements.

The Matrox G450 has it's excellent Dual-Head support and the best 2D money can buy. The Radeon LE offers the best DVD playback, as well as gread 2D though not quite up to par with the Matrox card. The 3D capabilities of the Radeon LE are also quite good, whereas the G450 is lacking in that regard.

The Kyro 2 as suggested above is a decent option but the above mentioned cards seem more suitable to you as they both offer superior 2D, and the Matrox card has the Dual-head support while the Radeon has the better DVD.
Given that you don't play much games which is the Kyro 2's greatest benefit you'd likely be suited better with the G450 or Radeon LE.

Thanks for the imput. How much difference will I SEE with the cards that you have mentioned? Do you think that the Matrox would work well with my TV card?
thanks

You don't have to worry about getting a card for your VE card because the drivers for it don't work in XP.
