Current video card:
GTX 560 Ti (upgrade from an RMA on a 6800 GT from 2005) So, it's been a LONG time...

Looking for:
2x DP (Dell U2715H current monitor)
Cool/Quiet
Handle StarCraft 2 <--Added the 2

That's basically it. I rarely game and if I do, it's currently Heart of the Swarm.

Budget is $350, would prefer less but want best value for the $. I'd like the option to game and not be crushed...but it's not a priority.

Thanks, Guys!

That would be Heart of the Swarm, so 2.

Yes, I know this system is unbalanced as far as gaming:
i7-5820/Asus x99/32 GB RAM
Corsair HX750i power supply.

Currently, I don't overclock but will in the future (upgraded from an i7-920 @ 3.8 GHz).

I don't think SC2 is very GPU intensive. Could probably get away with a $200 card or maybe less with that.

My favorite card is the GTX970 at that price. Make sure to check benchmarks specifically for the games you play before you buy.

I like the latest Intel integrated graphics with Crystalwell for the everyman's choice, and to step up to something faster today I like the GTX970. So I'd go with that.

I probably wouldn't go any higher myself even if you wanted to spend more, because 16nm GPUs will be here next year and it should be a major leap. I wouldn't invest say $650 in a 980Ti. Wait for VR and Arctic Islands/Pascal.

970 is pretty awesome today, cool, quiet and will last a long time as well.

You guys did read the op? Your asking him to buy very expensive gpus to play sc2...
Since when did you need a gtx 970 for sc2?
I don't know the benches of the game but I imagine skylake igp can handle it or a 950/750ti.

Yeah, AMD 285/380 or Nvidia 950/960 would be more than enough for that game.
Wait for the 950 to launch sometime this month, and see what it can handle.

I'll be adding a 4K monitor soon, which is why I need at least 2 Display Ports. That seems to really remove a lot of the older cards which may be powerful enough.

Is the 950 an actual or paper launch?
