new vid card or new monitor

I built a new PC recently, but I went a bit cheap on the video card (ok really cheap), as I got a 6200 with turbo cache (128MB onboard 256 supported). I play games sometimes, mainly WoW, howver I like to try out other games from time to time. I am also still using an old Gateway EV910 Monitor, which has served me well for at least the last 5 years, but I've noticed its not nearly as crisp as newer monitors. With the 300 bucks should I go for a new video card or a new monitor? I'm startin to think it may be nicer to get a new monitor and save some deskspace.

AMD X2 3800
Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI
TT Tsunami w/ TT 480 Silent PurePower
80GB WD SATA Drive
e-GeForce 6200 PCI-e
1GB DDR400

Ok 7800GT murders 6600 sli.

As far as gaming whats the maximum response time for gaming and other features I should look for in a LCD monitor?

I would recommend purchasing a 19" LCD with a DVI connection. Many of these sized monitors have dropped below $300.

At this point in time its not a good idea to get SLI anything. Even if you have tons of money its better to wait until the 7900's come out.
A 7800GT is faster than two 6600's and not a waste of money. You can always SLI that later on.
It will also probably make your WoW experience a lot more enjoyable than a new monitor.

Personally, I'd wait until I could get my hands on a 7900GT. You have a darn nice system (besides the 6200) and it would match nicely.

yes.

On my monitor when I was running analog it would always kinda wiggle and flicker but when I switched to DVI that all stopped and it looks dope now
