HERE is a Sapphire Radeon 9600 pro, for under $150.

EDIT: However, if you want to spend a few bucks more, and I would highly reccomend it, get THIS MSI card isntead, it pretty much smashes the 9600 pro, and has a good software bundle, ever played morrowind? it comes with it.

The 5700u costs as much at the 5900XT, and the 5900XT outperforms it by about 30-40% in most cases. Go with the 5900XT if you're spending over $150. If not, yea, the Radeon 9600 pro looks pretty good :)

Yes 3 great cards in there respected price points! it all comes down to what your willing to spend
You could also put in a Geforce4 Ti4200 in that list

Ti4200->9600XT->5900XT->9800Pro
$90 -> $150 -> $180 -> $210

I'd try to get a 9600 pro for around $130 or less I think. Much faster of a card would probably just be a waste due to your slow cpu.
