New vid card for me

No. If you're getting a new card, get one that will give you 2x the performance (at least that's my theory). The 6600gt is only slightly better, but a 6800gt or a x800xl will give you a big improvement. Actually, I just bough an x800xt, with all the discounts going around these days, and that is something that's worth upgrading to from a 9800p.
 
$100 is a good price for a 9800p, or somewhere in that range. I'd sell it now, though, while it's still worth that much, because once the next gen ati cards are released, it will be worth about as much as a gf4 is worth now.
 
I agree, and since you are still AGP there are great deals to be had. New XFX 6800GT with M 3.0 at newegg got just $284.00. Sell your 9800 Pro for $100.00 and you will pay only slightly more hten a new 6600GT would cost.
