New Vid card families coming?

When the 9700 came out so did the 9500 and they both had variants. Same thing with the 9800 and 9600. Nvidia does the same thing too. IS there any word on what the new families for this generation will be besides 6800 ultra and non ultra, and x800pro and x800xt?

What are all the difference's between the cards? I know the 800xt and 800pro are 4 pipe line difference but what about the SE. Also never heard of the 6800GT whats up with it?

6800 GT will be a 16 pipe declocked ultra
the x800SE will be an 8 pipe card
the x600 and x200 (i think?) are also slated to come out (not sure when though)
no idea what nvidia has in store for the mainstream and budget parts though

That's the way it looks as you have it posted that way 🙂

At $400, it'll sit between the 6800 Ultra ($500) and the plain 6800 ($300). The 6800 GT is arguably the best of the 6800 line. Unlike the Ultra, it's single slot and single molex, so it's smaller, consumes less power and is likely then either cooler or quieter or possibly both. It also performs as well or better than the X800 Pro in most tests. It also seems to overclock fairly well.
