New VGA Silencer, any tips for getting the heatsink off?

I have a 9800 Pro and don't feel like wrecking it....I was planning on ut2k4 for 20 min then turning off the pc and popping it out, popping the two little prongs through the card and twisting the heatsink off.....anything else I should do before / after popping the silencer on including removing the shim, etc...

Thanks

You should be fine, just don't force it off with all of your might. My 9700pro's heatsink was very easy to take off, so you shouldn't have any problems. One more thing, be sure you don't screw your VGA Silencer on too tightly. That alone could be the reason why people have killed their cards with it.
