I've recently looked into buying the VP912B as a replacement for my old CRT. However, over the past month I have not been able to purchase one, but will do so in the near future. But a post at newegg was brought to my attention.

According to the poster, he states that all new models of the VP912B will sport the standard matte screen.
I was wondering if this was credible at all, since I have not called the company yet. I was also wondering if this would affect the image quality at all, since many reviews love/hate the current "screening" on it. If anyone has a review of this new VP912B, it would be of great help.
