new version firefox 3.5.7

I am really getting sick of these monthly patches... I use 4 separate computers with Firefox on them at home and at work, so now I get to look forward to a bunch of those annoying "Firefox just updated itself, please restart me!" dialog boxes interrupting me while I'm working... followed by those even more obnoxious "congratulations, you updated Firefox!" start pages.

Yeah, Yeah... I know that security updates are important, but please give me an option to auto-update my browser without prompting me!

I prefer being given a choice. Also, if it quietly updates, you may never know it and be running with insecurities for quite awhile. Sometimes I don't shut my browser down for days at a time. If it updated, but never restarted, I could run into problems.
