Are there any suggestions on what Sony Vaio laptops would be a good choice for me to buy? I'm looking for something that's semi-powerful and semi-portable, probably leaning towards the portable side. Thanks. =^)
 
Why Sony? You pay a pretty large premium and get nothing back. There are far better brand names for laptops then Sony.

BTW Sony itself is a great company, I'm just not to impressed with the pricing to performance of their laptops.

Sony in sadly overpriced 🙁
Great looking machines though...

Try IBM on the higher end, or maybe dell or toshiba.
 
Sony is like Apple, you pay a premium for style. Personally, I love my R505. I got it used for $400 and it suits my needs for a laptop and still looks pretty good.

Anyways, if you've got the cash, go for one of these babies. Or if you want something smaller
