Yo!
In win2k i got heavy graphical errors in some games (NFSPU, Rally masters, Giants citizen kabuto etc), and some ran perfectly with the latest betas.
I have changed one file in the new drivers (dont know what it does exactly) with another one (beta too), so now it works perfectly.
Those who get errors in win2k in some games, download from here:

http://home.online.no/~joarings/win2kv3_1.07betafix.zip

Doubleclick driversetup.exe.
Hope it works for you too
Otherwise, try and exchange the 3dfxvs.dll with another late version. (in the system32 directory).
Reboot for the changes to take effect.

Not bad, suprised x3dfx released drivers.. will they continue to do so?

As Deeko said, "the current drivers are awesome."

Seems like the new ones are better!

Compare MDK2 with T&L with the new drivers to the old.. if the went off of TOT OGL it should be a lot faster..

Dave, is there an MDK2 demo I can download to test? Cause I don't have the game.

Dude, that song is sooo good. #3 on my current top 20. I think it has potential to be a lasting slow song, along the lines of "God Must Have Spent" by NSync.

Deeko, while you may have a respected opinion around here when it comes to hardware talk, anybody that not only listens to bsb and nsync but puts their song lyrics in their profile is GAY. Seriously you are GAY.

"Off topic time:

98*, "My Everything" = Gack!"

I mistook it for "Windoze 98, "Me" = gay" for 30 seconds.

I need to get a life.

Deeko, I like your choice of graphics adapters, but your taste in music....resembles my 5-year old daughters.

No offense, of course. ;)

BSB and NSYNC are made bands...they have no musical talent. Most all of the their songs were and are written for them. My brother works for Crescendo studios in San Francisco and used to work at Russia Hill studios...he has heard numerous stories, audio engineer to audio engineer, from guys who have done recording for BSB and NSYNC. They can't sing...can't read music...don't know anything about music theory or history...THEY ARE MADE. Trained, educated singers have to sing all the pieces for them like millitary drill until they start singing it right.

My brother has heard that sessions with these guys are what make audio engineers quit their jobs.

This is just what I've heard... so this could be blown out of proportion. But besides that... with all the truly talented musicians and bands out there, why BSB and NSYNC...WHY??!!! Why not try to copy Harry Connick Jr. or something? You know, Harry plays an absolutely viscious electric guitar...he's a truly amazing musician

BTW, my brother did the audio engineering and mixing for the bud light "WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!" commercial. He does most of the bud light commercial sound actually, I just don't know which ones. He did most all of the chameleon bud light commercials... I loved those!!!

If you mean that they were manufactured and did not form on their own by "they are made", you are completely wrong, no offense. They can sing...you'd have a hard time finding someone in the music industry(I'm talking like music like rock/pop/rap/everything, not like "profesional singers") that has a better voice than Brian Littrel of BSB. They do write many of their songs, they didn't on their old CDs, but they do on the new ones. I'm sure they can read music if they can write songs. I don't know or care about music theory, do you think any popular musician today does?
