I just sent someone a computer, but neglected to install a wireless adapter.

From what I gather, he's using a Medialink router/modem combo, and a Medialink USB wireless adapter. I can't talk him through it, and there doesn't seem to be much support available for the products.

Windows 10 just doesn't seem to see the adapter, or the adapter isn't seeing the network. It's never been a problem before, apparently. Naturally, I rather doubt it.

Either way, he's got plenty of devices working over there, but they are all things like Playstations and tablets that automatically detect everything.

This Medialink adapter doesn't seem to work properly, and as I said, I can't seem to talk him through the problems. I've no idea what he's looking at during installation, as I've never seen the device or it's drivers before.

I don't care to.

Is there a USB wireless adapter that is natively plug and play with Windows 10 yet? Every time I search, I end up with the same old threads on various forums and news articles. None are relevant.

Today, on the 29th of December, 2015, does such an adapter exist?

By plug and play, I mean just that; no searching around for drivers and transferring them from one device to another. Just drop it in, and the installation CD works or Windows recognizes it.
