i bought a usb mouse and keyboard for two of my computers, now i cant get them to work right. in the bios i enabled usb legacy keyboard/mouse support. but when windows starts up, they dont work. any suggestions on what i can do?
I think you actually have to log into Windows first for plug-n-play to detect and configure the new toys. Once that's done, you can pull the old stuff off the system at the next shutdown.
AFAIK you don't need to enable usb legacy support in the bios to make them work. I *think* that's just for true 'legacy' stuff (maybe if you were running DOS or something).
