New US estimate, 60,000/day from BP oil spill

You can't actually 'make' them do anything though can you Obama. You can ask them nicely and you can refuse them permission to drill in that area again but at the end of the day BP will do what is most financially advantageous to them. If that's to pay the claims then they'll pay, if not, then they won't.
