Already gave this a try. It's the same benchmark with slightly different effects. I personally think the added SSDO looks bad (big dark smudgy shadows from lights in dark areas), but otherwise, it seems like a nice update.

The most important change here is not with the engine, but with the addition of presets - it will make comparisons much, much easier, similar to 3dMark's presets. What's nice is that even the extreme preset is at a relatively low resolution (1600x900) so just about everyone can run it.

BTW, I assume anisotrophy is now set by default. It doesn't add much of a load anyway.

Seems like they added a stronger DOF to it as well, and the Tess is even more "extreme" than before, looks goofy... The walking areas look painful, as in you'd break an ankle trying to navigate the "path".

I tried running the extreme profile but at 1920x1080p(my native), 1gb card runs out of memory. Where the xtreme profile with it's 1600x900 res. profile does not.
Which is probably why they chose that resolution?
I don't run out of memory at 1600x900 8xAA, have not tried a alternative like 1080p 4xAA.
So here is the stock extreme results.

And same settings @1080p, where the bench stuttered from lack of memory a couple times. 8xAA , extreme tessellation

I'd like to see DX11.1 support. I'm curious to see if DX11.1 will have a notable effect for gaming performance.

What feature do you think is missing. Or would be added. Also, 11.1 is exclusive to Windows 8.

My 7850 blew up, overstressed I guess :'(

Wait, are you serious? Do you mean it crashed, stopped functioning permanently, or actually overheated and started smoking?

By the way, a 1200/1200 overclock, which is the you have listed in your sig, is quite far from optimal. You'll get around 60% scaling for your core overclock. The core at 1200 will be bottlenecked by the memory.

Whenever I put it in my computer now...it wont boot anymore. I can see nothing on the card, no smoke signals. I ordered a new 1.....different brand though.
Increasing the memory clock did not show any improvement in the benchmarks BTW.

Not sure why they would make the walking paths out of boulders.

Here's the Extreme preset:

Probably going to be some driver optimizations, both AMD and Nvidia work directly with Unigine.
