you could get the mpdemo from 3dgamers.com

It's really fun to drive. It doesn't feel as hard as GTR, which I feel spins out WAAAY too easily. You could be going in a straight line and spin out o_O

I think this is the new ultimate racing sim, well for track at least. Richard Burns Rally will be hard to beat.. :)

Anyways, back to the game with my Act Labs six speed shifter :)

there was another effort that tried to bring forth a "true racing sim" last year or even before that. I guess it never got finished.

I've been playing the GTR Legends demo and I love it. Anyone play this and Legends? How do they compare?

i play gtr online fairly often...as long as the server allows abs and t.c. it's fine, even in sim mode

although decent graphics would be nice...gtr's only weak spot.

then don't download it. please leave the bandwidth for those who appreciate a good racing sim :)

Too late. Took a whole minute and 13 seconds to download. Most things download in no time hence the comment.

Live For Speed is the only racing sim worth playing. IIRC, it's the collective effort of enthusiasts, rather than something from a company. they model physics in great detail and take into account many factors, including tire temps, the amount of gas in your tank, passengers, drafting, etc. all the suspension geometry is fully adjustable and the car's handling will react properly to any changes. it feels damn realistic, but is harder to drive than a real car because you lack all the actual seat-of-your-pants info you get in an actual car.

Colin McRae Rally is a great WRC-style sim.

I believe we downloaded the full version. The demo file I found is only 68.9 MB from gamershell.

I love RBR, but nothing beats being out on a real gravel road in your own car ;)

That's the one I was alluding to. Was that ever finished ? There was no hype over it except "wait till you see this one..."
