New type of touch-pad offered

1 flaw that you need to fix. When primarily working on the keyboard, both your wrists will be resting on the touchpad. This may cause accidental mouse clicks or have the mouse move around erratically while typing.

btw... i like the site. Lots of creative ideas.

I don't know, I never had a problem using a touchpad to drag or whatever.

Just use your index finger for the touchpad, your thumb to click/hold.

I see 2 ways: to locate hands for rest on the center or to shift buttons and touch-pad to the center and leave separated and rotated. No, one more way: to leave touch-pad exactly on the center and to locate the separated buttons higher among keys.

Your prompting is very helpful, thank you. Probably, I must correct my description.

I think your style is unusual enough. Your thumb must be very mobile. But anyway rotating of usual touch-pad would give you relaxed wrist, won't it?

lol, I read through some of the "patent" pending stuff...
1 - they violate some patents already
2 - some aren't patenable
3 - some are just stupid ideas

I'd like to know opinions of notebooks users. Would it be really suitable?

Previous post removed by me once I noticed you had a foreign filing date.

Well, when you consider that ~99% of all patents are worthless and never get litigated, then it doesn't really matter does it?

Its amazing how many people in here bash the patent system when by their very posts it is evident that they know absolutely nothing about it. (not that I'm saying you were bashing mDay, your points are valid).

I personally would never buy a laptop that had a touch pad like that. That would drive me insane. Very, very bad idea IMO. Sorry.

By the way the remind me of turn tables.
I think it would be hard to impliment, as people put there input devices to one corner of the desk
