New TV's w/ Intel Inside...

So that little 1/2" thing in the picture is projected to fill a 60" screen? As opposed to using 8" CRTs?

Intel actually has the fabs to do LCOS right. It's far harder than most manufacturers anticipate. There are no viable LCOS RPTV sets on the market. Heheh.

They'll be coming out just in time for me 😀 Hopefully by that time I'll be working and can afford to buy a giant TV powered by Intel 🙂.

This is good for consumers, hopefully Intel can make it in the industry.

Perhaps. The problem is the chip yields are extremely low. This is where Intel, traditionally, is very strong. Time will tell I guess.
