Ooh boy I'm happy so far. The black levels look OUTSTANDING. Will put in a better review soon for future forum searches. So far no dead pixels (so say we all).

Very thin borders make it almost exactly the same size as my old gen1 42" vizio 1080p set...except this one is 55" with practically no borders 😀

This is a LED with "12 active led zones" which is some sort of feature it hypes.

So far, looking like a TV with good picture quality and nothing much else. I don't plan on using the WIFI services as I use my ps4 for that.

ohhhh the colors are going to take some doing to get right I hate this part of a new tv meh

Nice! I just picked up the m80d. The color settings defaulted to vivid blahhh 😛
How is the remote for controlling other devices like cable box? The one that came with the m80d is complete trash. It fails to pair up.
 
I don't have a cable box...not sure on that one.

So far, after tinkering with it, I'm not happy with the color scheme at all.

CNET is getting the exact same TV soon and will post their review, as long as I don't have a defective model, the calibrated options they use should make it look better on my TV.

I'll probably be using the full 90 day return period on this one :\
