get a tv with component inputs

recommend something in the sub-$250 pricerange? been looking around and this one had good reviews, although the s-video is its best input.

I bought a 27" Sanyo from Wal-Mart for about $225. It has component inputs and the quality was great. Oh its also a flatscreen.

I wouldn't recommend the TV you linked to because its not a big enough step up from what you already have.

This one has good reviews on Epinions, not that much more.

or that's just me.

Well, it's a wedding present, so I'm not paying for it 🙂

I'm a little confused by progressive scan with DVD players. Can you use progressive and notice a difference when using a regular 480i TV? Don't you need a 480p TV?

Can't you sell your current TV and shoot for a 27" TV? The XBox 360 is coming out soon so getting an XBox doesn't seem that attractive right now.

What kind of monitor do you have right now? You could always sell your TV and monitor and just get a larger monitor + TV tuner.

all your bro is getting you for a wedding is that sorry ass tv? damn, in my family a wedding present from direct family is like an suv or a boat

Getting a 27" flat-screen CRT with component input.

No Xbox 360...I'm waiting for PS3! 😀
