WOW! Some of those visuals are just amazing! Aronofsky is one of the best young filmmakers out there. It's been awhile since I've been blown away by a trailer.

OMFG. It looks incredible. Darren Aronofsky is probably my favorite director, and I can't wait to see how it turned out.

I think this will be one of those visual experiences that doesn't make a great movie, kinda like "The Cell".

Same. It looks great visually, but the story was just sorta blah from the preview.

That's Aronofsky. A whole lot of style, but always lacking in substance.

Wow, I don't know how you can say that with all the crappy movies out today. Plus, unlike The Cell, the visual elements are part of the story. And it's not just visuals; it's the camerawork, the soundtrack, and the cinematographic punch.

So I take it you have seen the movie then? ;)

In his defense, he's seen as much of it as those who criticizing the lack of a story contained within a 90 second trailer

I haven't seen Pi yet (I've heard it's a good film), but I can vouch that Requiem for a Dream was visually great and had a great story.

Ellen Burstyn is in it again and Clint Mansell is doing the music again

I loved the soundtrack. Plus, Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz are in it.

Does anyone have a direct link for it? I can't seem to view it in Firefox with Quicktime alternative.

Excellent point. I was just joking around anyway...I don't know much about the movie at all. Looks neat though.

All of which, at least in his past movies, are used to cover up the lack of a compelling story.

Does anyone know what that track is called in the trailer? Is it an original track for the movie? Sounds pretty wicked.
