I like hatchbacks. I must be an anti American European-American (That means whiteboy). So practical, so lightweight. I want an Acura RSX Type S. Forget the PleRude. It is old news now. There hasn't been a Corolla hatchback in the US since 1987. Could it destined for Ellis Isle?

I doubt you'll see it here. Toyota is brinning out the Matrix which is a five door sport hatch based off of the Corolla platform.

The corolla hatchback here will be called the matrix. It is basically the same thing with 5 doors instead of 3.

What I'm excited for is the rumor that Toyota is going to create the spirtual sucessor to the Hachi-Roku (86). In other words, a lightweight FR car with a high revving 4cylinder, close ratio 6 speed, sport tuned suspension, limited slip, etc. All it needs is Fujiwra Tofu Shop sticker on the drivers side
