Wanted to get some buying advice- just got a samsung sch-u370 (vz 'feature' phone). I saw bestbuy's video demo and selection- believe it to be ZAGG invisibleshields that were on display...

I want a good screen cover/film to prevent the screen from taking damage, without noticably interfering with the sensitivity of the touch input, and also without worsening the viewing angle/contrast/brightness/polarization of the display. If the film takes the damage 2 the point it is scrificial, it's gotta be inexpensive; otherwise, I'd like it 2 be durable. Don't give a hang about antibacterial stuff&things in/on the film (unless film covers are like a germ nursary @ that's a must, or something- not familiar)

any guidance is appreciated

Most of your post is teenage texting jibberish so I stopped trying to decipher it, but I'll tell you one thing: the invisible shield and "best skins ever" will offer the best protection, however both have a fairly sticky feel IMO which aren't good for touchscreens where you swipe and scroll across the screen. I would skip those kind if I were you.

BSE and Zagg have a significant orange peel look too. Combined w/ the tacky feel, I got rid of it (they do work nicely though, mine didn't get finger printy). If you do go this route, be wary of BSE fitting. It wasn't a good fit on my pre or the ipod I got it for. This was 2 yrs ago almost though.

I have a ghost armor screen protector and love it. closest feel to my Pre and very little orange peel comparatively. but it does pick up finger prints and smudges just like the naked screen.

Supposedly, phantomskinz is even better, so I'll try that on my next phone. They're doing a 2 for 1 deal right now.

Are our kids/grandkids going to become text based spellers? I fear for our society and literacy in general.

do any of the films mentioned change the polarization of the display? I wear polarized sunglasses often, and don't want to make it any harder to read the phone when doing so.

I used invisible shields before i had a touch screen phone...the zagg products are great, but with my android set i decided on a slim-ish case/holster and no screen protector. i dont like using the screen protectors all day on a touchscreen phone :-/

I use nothing. Never had one scratch on any phone or tablet ever.
