Has anyone else seen these? If the newer Sonoma's don't come out soon with MXM/PCIe Geforce 6600 Go's, I think I might end up getting one of these puppies. In another post, someone asked why PC makers couldn't produce laptops that were comparable to Powerbooks. Given this machine's DVD playback capability w/o booting an OS, DVR functionality, and component video/HDTV output, I think a Wintel company may have finally surpassed the Powerbook (except for the fact the you can get a Mobility 9700 on a Powerbook and thus more 3D power). BTW, there's also a 17" version, but I don't think it's in retail yet. Good stuff.

I've seen the 17" at compusa and circuit city. THe Qosmio's have awesome screens. Very bright. Nice solid keyboard, solid trackpad buttons overall good solid feel.

But Dang they are expensive!!!!

Yeah, I kind of cringed at the price. I'm headingt to Compusa and Circuitcity tonight, so I'll look out for the 17" version.
