1:22 for 1 minute...LOL
<---realizes how pathetic that is....

my regime:
I warm up for about 12 minutes:
-6min warming up where I usually try to get at least 1500m in before the 6minute mark. On average I ALMOST get 1600m...but not yet
6 warming up at 3/4 to full, watching my pace and trying to get see how fast I can get 1500m in. I remember the times, but don't really count it towards my progress.
Once I am warmed up, for 6 minutes thereafter, I try to go 3/4 to full and remember my times.
On that last run my average time for every 500m, is about 1min48sec-1min53sec.
I wanted to see what a realistic goal should be for someone who is about 5'11 and in relatively good shape( not me
).
During this final run, my split time starts at about 2:03, about half way through I keep it at 1:50ish, and by the end, I am in the 1:30 area...I am simply not in good enough shape to keep it in the 40s the entire time like I use to back in the day
anyone? I have nothing to gauge my progress except myself and wanted to see if anyone knew of some good resources or if they are good resources themselves
.
