Hey everyone. I'm new to water cooling and am excited to get my loop going. I just had a question about the most effective way to run my loop. I've got 2 radiators, a gpu water block, and a CPU water block. Below is an image of my case (Cyclone 7000) and some advanced, next level graphics produced by MS paint to show my idea.

The loop order doesn't matter, lay it out for neatness and shorter tubing or ease of maintenance. About the only thing that does need a specific order is the reservoir being before the pump but since you are using a combo that isn't an issue.

When it comes to the actual barbs and tubing you'll want to measure it out. The angle at which the tubing comes out and goes into another component may mean you want angled pieces in a few places, which depends on which way around you put the radiators and where the barbs go on the CPU. You want want to come horizontally out of the top radiator towards the CPU for example and out of the radiator into the GPU is probably a 45 degree angle barb on each end.

If you're using a pump top with a cylinder reservoir combo, the flow should be in reverse. To make it flow like your diagram, it has to be in the order of GPU > reservoir > pump. A couple of 45/90 degree fittings will be required as there are many sharp, narrow bends in your loop.

+1

need to know what type of res ur using...
otherwise dma's advice is solid... reverse your order or your going to encounter a lot of sharp turns..

Go Pump > GPU -> 158mm rad (?? theres actually such a thing?) -> cpu -> 285mm rad (??? again there is such a thing?) -> res
So basically flip your loop in reverse.

also welcome to AT.
