Here's what I have:

Hitachi P50H401 50in Plasma TV

Toshiba SD-H400 Tivo with DVD player

Motorola Cable box (Mediacom cable)

cheapo Magnavox upconverting DVD player

I want one remote control that will manage all of these devices (or at least the first three)

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to start or what to buy?

Yep, just get a Harmony remote. Even the most basic models will do everything you mentioned.

Agreed, I own both a 520 and 676. The 676 is the best remote that I have ever owned.

I got to play with that bad boy at CES. It pretty much trumps the 880 in every way, as the 880 is nice, but I dont like the buttons on it. Once I find a Harmony One for under 140 dollars I will be biting, as the buttons have a better feel, and the feature set is identical or better than the 880 accross the board.

From what I hear, the one is meant to replace the 880 according to logitech.
