Any response to a post puts the post back at the top of the list. Unreplied to posts will slowly fall off.

If you have a question that just doesn't seem to get an answer you can reply to your own thread as a "bump" back up to the top so more people have a chance to look at it.

Use sparingly though. Repeated bumps are bad etiquette
