Hi all
I have an Acer Aspire 7740G notebook (http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/notebook/2009/acer/aspire/Aspire7740G/Aspire7740Gsp2.shtml)
with the i5-540M processor and 4Gb of RAM and windows 7 premium 64bit.
I'm looking to upgrade my 540rpm drive to an ssd and I'm thinking that Kingston drives seem to be my preference at the moment for ease of data transfer and because it comes with a 2.5" case to turn my 640Gb drive into a portable HDD for me.
My question are:
1. Am I right in going with the Kingston package as a newbie (computer competent but not a strip your own machine down to nuts and bolts kind of man)
2. Which model should I go for and what capacity between 64-128gb and the V 100 and V +100 series.
Many thanks
