I just bought the HTC Sensation...
Can I listen to Pandora through my home wi-fi, or must I use the TMobile network?

How can I be sure I am not using TMobile network data?

If you want to be 100% sure use the HTC power widget to turn off mobile network/3g.

Thanks!

Next question - on the HTC it shows a wi-fi calling option - but there's a warning that it will use plan minutes (T Mobile).

So, does anyone know if TMobile also charges me data fees / quantity against any data I receive through the Wi-fi?

- the question is important in that I only have 200 mb of data plan, which I figured would be enough for what I need while driving around, but if I start listening to Pandora on the wi-fi at home, it will eat up 200 mb REAL quick.

T-Mobile (and all the other carriers) only charge you for data that goes through their network. They do not charge for (and cannot monitor) WiFi data.

It is not via the provider's own network, so how can they charge you? Your wi-fi ultimately stems from your ISP, not a mobile telephony provider.
