New to SCSI - which ID should I use?

I have managed to acquire a 2GB SCSI Jaz drive but have no manual etc. I have no experience of SCSI and this is the only SCSI device I have.

Should the unit be set to 0, 1, 2, 3...???

It seems to work with whatever I use, however last night I re-installed WinXP and got BSODs. I changed the Jaz to 0 and now it's fine.

Strange huh?

Any ID will be fine as long as it's not conflicting with another device, the SCSI card itself is usually id 7.
