I'm planning on purchasing a new computer in the next couple of weeks and was planning on overclocking it. Can someone give me their opinion as to, hands down, the best overclockable cpu to get. And maybe the best price/performance ratio. Any help would be great. THANKS!

i think the two best out these days are the amd tbred 1700+ B DLT3C steppings

or

the P4 2.53ghz SL6S2 that people are getting from outpost.com

take your pick!

the amd can do anywhere between 2.3 to 2.5 ghz on air

while the p4 can do 3.3 to 3.5 on air...

someone also posted about the new 2.4C chips that are able to do 3.6 to 3.8 on air....

if i have little cash, then i'd get the 1700+ JIUHB DLT3C chips or if i do have the cash ,then i'd get the 2.4C or 2.6C
