New to overclocking and need help

Hey guys, I have a P4 2.8ghz Northwood cpu running on an Asus P4C800 Deluxe mobo with some OCZ (2x512mb) value ram timed at 2.5, 3, 3, 7 and I just think that this system is a bit slow right now and would really like to overclock it.

I tried looking around on how to overclock a system with these parts but I couldn't really find them very helpful so I decided to come and ask you guys for help.

The first thing that I need to know is whether I can even overclock this, and second how exactly should I do it (how do I change the fsb settings and ram ratios if need be).

This whole system runs on a stock Antec 350watt power supply that I got with my Antec case and the CPU has stock cooling on it, so if I need to change any of that it won't be a problem and any advice on which parts to buy would also be much appreciated.

The Asus P4C800 is one of the best socket 478 motherboards for overclocking. You'll need to use a divider for you ram. Then start to slowly increase your FSB. I imagine you'll get somewhere between 3.2-3.4ghz on that chip, depending on what version it is(400mhz FSB, 533mhz FSB, or 800mhz FSB) and how good your cooling is.
