New to Netflix: Question!

What happens when Netflix receives a movie I mailed back to them? Do they remove the movie from my Queue or send me an e-mail or both?

I joined last week and received "Babel" on Wednesday and put it back into the mail on Thursday. It only needed to go from DC to Gaithersburg, MD. Now it is Sunday and I have received no notification that they got it back.

Another question, can Netflix movies arrive on Saturdays as well?

Netflix typically does have an automated email sent saying that they received the movie. The movie gets removed automatically from 'Movies you have out' section.
That said, there have been many instances where Netflix has not sent an email over to me when I returned them. I know they got them since I get the email of the movies I am 'about to receive'.
And yes, if they mail it on a Thursday or Friday then depending where you are, you should be able to get the movies on Sat since its delivered by usps.

Netflix movies can arrive on Saturdays, but Netflix doesn't work on Saturday. Your movie should show up as received on Monday.

Thanks.

If nothing more happens to my account by Tuesday, I am going to cancel my free trial. If the first movie/attempt doesn't work, then screw em!

sometimes the movie gets "lost", just watch your other two and send them back
you can always report a movie "lost", but 1-2 days? chill out man

blockbuster online allows you to return movies to their stores and get free rentals(includes new releases). Plus your next movies are sent out when the're scanned in the store.

Which is a good thing (I guess), since I've heard that Blockbuster online is slow with sending new movies once they receive the last one you rented.
