ok...this is a great board, i only have one problem...its either my cpu or soemthing i'm doing wrong....

Here's the setup
athlon tb 800
MSI k7t pro turbo raid ms6330 ver 3.0b
geforce mx2 hercules
monster sound s400
7200 rpm WD HDD -ata100 not on raid ide
128 mb rev2 mushkin ram set on 2-2-2 settings

Currently using the V1.0B16 Special BIOS
System is running very stable on 8.5 *105 fsb = 893

i would like to run this system ideally on 7*133 or even 6*133

but when i try to boot up with 7*133 or even 7*120 or antyhing higher than 110FSB it does not post...heat is not a problem as well....black VGA screen....i have to clear the cmos and start over again just to get back into the bios.....any help would be appreciated......i love this board due to its stability, unlike that damn Asus A7V i had which took me 3 weeks just to get stable, oh well..its gone now...good riddance...Help!! what's the deal..is it the cpu??

This is because of the limitation of KT133-based boards. Most(like yours) reach 110Mhz tops but some lucky ones are able to reach 120Mhz.

Just throwing this out, but don't MSI boards have a jumper to set the FSB from 100MHZ- 133MHZ....check your manual, I could be way off here, but worth checkin though.

Have you tried the pencil trick on the L7 bridges to up the default voltage to 1.85v? I have a duron 750 that is at 7.5x133 now and all it needed was the extra voltage just before the bios initializes. The MSI boards have a slight delay prior to the bios values being set. Once you boot you can enter the bios and lower the volts if needed. I run at 1.7v now. Try it.

HOly shamoly!! i got it!! my pc is running right now on 7*133 = 933 !! it even got into windows at 7.5*133 = 1000 mhz.......good lord i love this board!! all i had to do was change my ram settings from manual to by SPD!!! damn...i'm tweaking the fsb some more...i got it to boot at 7*145mhz but i got the irq_less_ something blue screen on windows..........i'm using win2k! I'd post some pics but i don't know how.....hehe.... cpu is running at default voltage and default VIO 3.3v~~! cpu idle is 43C.....about to do some benchmarks......I love it~!!!
