Yea...what now? :D:D Many of you may remember my wreck thread. I bought a car this afternoon.

2004 Mazda6i in Redfire Metallic
- 2.3L 4-cyl
- 5-speed manual trans
- 50k miles
- Sport package (stiffer shocks, nice alloy wheels, spoiler, ground effects)
- Every single interior option: Leather heated seats, Bose stereo, steering wheel controls, CD changer

This car is an absolute joy to drive. It handles as good or better than my GTI did. Definitely not the fastest thing on 4 wheels, but it's really comfy and gets 30mpg highway. I couldn't be happier. :)

Very nice pics, like a magazine but I give you a fail rating of unlimited without posting what you paid. Only then can we give proper props ;)

Nice pics. I had that same car although it was the standard red color. Mine was a 2005 6i however. The car was good and it never gave me any trouble. I soon sold it afterwards since I can't stand any front wheel drive vehicles.

I'm kind of surprised Gibson hasn't shown up to moan about how his Mazda needing a power steering pump out of warranty.

I test drove a Mazda 6 a while ago, I really liked it. The interior was very nice. The 4 cylinder was enough unless you really stomped on it.

Nice pics.

Looks pretty swank. I love the dashboards on those cars, especially at night. How much did she set you back?

Paid just under $10k. Wasn't too thrilled on the price, but it's EXTREMELY difficult to haggle on a car that has zero flaws. It also has a documented service history. This is the way buying a used car *should* be.

Awesome congrats! I really want an older Mazdaspeed6 or the mazda6 liftback. It's too bad they discontinued them in NA.

Hey, you brought it up. Why would I? The Mazda 6 does not even use the same steering pump.

Watch out for rust, since you are in a northern state. The 2003-2004 are notorious for this (especially in and around the wheels).
