New to me car!

So after so many years, I finally gave in and got a new (to me) car.

I got a 2012 Buick Regal 2.4 with 28,000 miles for 16,000 (17500 after taxes).

So far I am loving it. I wanted something a little upscale but nothing super luxury and it fit the bill. Funny I never looked at Buick. I'm 28 too and I've already been told I'm a grandpa for getting it but it doesn't seem to be old timer at all... oh well, it's a sweet car in my opinion.

As long as your happy. It does look smooth and comfortable. Hard to tell but the windows already looked tinted too - which is awesome. Anonymity on the road is good thing. Enjoy your ride.

Cadillac was (sort of) able to shake its "old person's car" image with the CTS but it took a few years, so by the time you have it broken in, maybe it won't have that stigma.

It's also nice that the other guy ate all the depreciation. You got a car that's 15% into its life for half the price - can't beat that!

I heard the seats come sealed with waterproof liners to protect them from "accidents." This would make sense for old people and grandchildren.

The new Regals are actually sport sedans, but Buick just can't get over that old person stigma. Should be a good car. It competes directly with the Audi A4, Lexus 250, and the Acura TSX.

Unfortunately you got the wrong one. You should have gotten the Regal GS (160mph top speed!)
