New to iPhone 3gs ... HELP!!!

Got a new iPhone. Use google for contacts. Have itunes set to sync contacts from gmail contacts to the iphone. It does this but... it will not import or sync the contact photo for the gmail contacts. Just imports the data from each gmail contact. (name, #, address, etc.)
Is there a way or should this also sync/import the contact persons photo from gmail contacts? I sure hate to re-add everyone’s photo.

And NO, I do not use facebook. I came across info about facebook would export photos.

Have you tried the Exchange support from Google? http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/

Also, are your Google contacts set to sync to Address Book in OS X? You could try syncing them there, and then syncing Address Book, if you already have an Exchange account.

That was of great help. Its working the way I wanted now. Gmail contacts w/ photo icons.
