Well currently my setup is...

CPU: 960T (Unlocked to Hex core) @ 4.2ghz
MB: Asus Sabertooth 990FX
Ram: 4x4GB Kingston DDR3 1600
HDD1: OCZ Agility 4 128gb (OS Drive Win8 Pro X64)
HDD2: Samsung F1 1tb
PSU: OCZ 750tx
Display: Hanns-G HG281D (28" 1920x1200)
Video: Gigabyte HD6850 1GB

I was planning on upgrading my video card now and after the first of the year I'm grabbing either 3x23" LCD's or 24" LCD's (5760x1080) res.

So I was looking at grabbing an HD7950 3GB to run the 3 screens on.

With plans to grab a 2nd 7950 after I get the 3 screens at some point. (Might not be at same time could be a couple months after.)

Would you guys go with the 7950 or another GPU?

This is interesting because your CPU might be a bit limiting if you were only running one screen, but I'm wondering if doing triple screens will burden the GPU enough to where you will be more balanced out and the CPU won't be a bottlenecking the video card?

But maybe you can identify which games you are planning to play, and then that will give you an idea of what to expect as far as FPS across three screens and whether the CPU will be up for it.

I'll play just about anything and everything.

WoW
GW2
BF2
COD games
Borderlands 2
Dark Souls (Dark Souls 2 once it's released)
Need for Speed games
Etc.

I don't mind not having all the settings maxxed on games. I currently play like BF3 on 1920x1200 I set the presets to High then turn things like AA and such down. I usually get around 50-60fps on a full server.

I've thought about upgrading my CPU but after reading and asking on the other forums I post also (Hardforum, OverClock.net etc) The FX-8320/8350 most likely wouldn't give me much of an improvement. I still might grab one of those after the the beginning of the year anyway I haven't rulled that out. Actually I can say that there's a 90% chance I'll grab one of the 2 CPU's by the end of February if not sooner.
