Hi people, just thought i'd post and see if maybe there are some things I should know, before I begin.
Mondobyte is the one that got me interested in this in the first place. I meant to do this a few weeks back, but thanks to Mondobyte, I have been extremely busy
 I'm going to give this a day or so before I dive in, so feel free to leave your comments and/or advice. Thanks in advance.

i dont have any tips but id like to say welcome to the TeAm and im sure you will enjoy the project. runs flawless for me on 2 windows installations

You might also make use of a little prog called FaDSpy, if you plan on monitoring more than one system or just want to have more info about your current WU and predections and so on.

Thanks for the replies. I have been running it since 9:30 am and don't know what is going on. The job seemed to be going pretty fast up to 25% then it really slowed down. Any settings that I need to adjust or just go ahead and let it do it's thing?

edit: what team number am I supposed to use and why does it use 100% CPU?

Almost all the projects use 100% of the cpu cycles...they still throttle back when you are using the computer for other things (most projeects do this...some are a bit more stubborn)

Hope this helps

That is absolutly normal. It usually rushes through the first whatoever percent and then slows down considerably. I once had it sitting on 78,5% for 6 days until it moved further. But regardless how long it takes, you gonna get some good points for it!!

Day 5, finally to 89% and 154 hits. For some reason I have lost some of the icons on the system tray. When this job is finished , I am going to uninstall fad and straighten everything out, then reinstall. Anyone have any strange things like this happen? Thanks people for your replies.

Sometimes FaD doesn't behave well for me as well. It snoozes for no aparent reason or just stalls / fails in a WU. But normally (I'd say 95% of the time) it works pretty well.
