For those of you who have been to DC recently or actually live here, what's the best stuff to do around here? I know about some of the cool museums and such, but I'm sure they've expanded quite a bit since I was last here back in '88. I just got here for work a few weeks ago (was working in TX), and playing BF1942 etc. can only cover a few hours of my off-time. 
Besides, I wanna get off my a$$ and check out the scene while I am still here! Any suggestions for cool bars and restaurants, or just places to meet people in general? Someone I know up here suggested joining the Louisiana State Society (I'm originally from there... Geaux Tigers!) because they supposedly have some cool events going on from time-to-time. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
