I just got them today and am looking for past experiences, online ordering and/or advice on these. How long until your eyes adjust? Seems like almost no close vision improvement although this was my 1st pair.
TIA

How do you like them so far? You needed correction in both near and far vision? Are they disposables or permanent type of lens?

So far so good, but I have only worn them for 6 hours per Dr. orders. I'm supposed to increase wearing them by 2 hrs. a day until I have worn them ~16 hrs. or so. I couldn't really feel the right, but noticed the left a bit. Yes, I need near and far correction. They are disposables and I was told that they should last ~ a month/pair. The only info. I found on the web seemed to state they were 2 week wear, but I never saw the vial and the girl that walked me through everything didn't seem very sure about exactly which contacts I was dispensed.

I'm personally not concerned about the time limit on the disposables. I bought a year long perscription of 2 week disposables and after a year, I'm only half way though my contacts  (<--- what I'll look like in a couple of years)

I went from Acuvue2 to Acuvue Advance with HydraClear.

The Advance Hydraclear is so much more comfortable to wear for extended periods.

That's the killer isekii. I can find Acuvue bramd cheaper and WITH rebates! I just hope the doc knows what he doing, because there seems to be no one online carring these. He did site an extremely high improvement rate with this paticular pair/brand vs a couple of yrs. ago. I'll wear these for now and have to go back Wed. for a follow-up. Maybe I'll ask for a differnt brand to compare, since I have no background at all with contacts.

malbojah, I read several user group posting that said exactly the same thing.

Thanks for the replies.

as long as you have the BC and Diameter correct with the right prescription, i don't think it really matters which brand you choose.

Of course Toric and Soft Lens would matter.

I really wanted to try Night and Day or something but they didn't have one in Base Curve 8.7 Dia 14 :(

I don't even have that info, since I'm just a few hrs into my trial. I will though as soon as I make sure I have a pair that I can live with.

If you have the packaging that the contacts came in it has all the information on it.

Nah, the OD just slapped 'em in and told me to go with "the girl outside the door" and she would go through the routine and checklist with me.

Hi, I'm on my first trial week with these. I really loved them at first because I could see better at both distance and close-range, but I'm running into trouble at night. My optometrist explained that this is because in low light, the pupils dilate more and your vision encroaches onto the outer part of the circle (the lens power is in concentric circles on the lens). At this point i'm trying to decide whether it's worth it changing back into glasses in the evening. When I go to the movies (dark theatre), I'll need to wear glasses always? Still trying to decide if I can work around it. Something to consider.
