Hello,

I finished making my system a few days ago and i'm not sure where to connect the black and white cable from the power supply to the motherboard it looks like a fan connector am I suppose to connect it to THE PWR_FAN1 pin connector? My second question is how cool should the cpu be running? Currently it ranges from 91f to 100f depending on time of day. and thirdly sometimes when I shutdown or restart from windows it sorta shutsdown but stays on but with no video and have to hold on to the power button. Any help is appreciated I know these questions might be stupid but I couldn't find an answer anywhere. My system specs are below.

asus a7n8x non deluxe motherboard
amd 2500xp barton cpu
512 2700 ddr
80gig hd
geforcefx 5200 128ram videocard

That Black and white cable you've got either powers or just monitors the second fan in your power supply. If its just monitoring, its an optional cable, if it actually powers it then just plug it into any available fan header on the mobo (that power one you mentioned should work great.)

As for processor temps, if you've got a Barton 2500+ and manage 100f, you're doin damn fine and dandy.
