New to ATI

Having just upgraded my machine to an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, I'm new to all the "whiz-bang" features of the card. Is there some sort of a newbie guide to this card? For example, how do I enable FSAA or AF for various games that I play?

Any pointers to FAQs or newbie-friendly websites would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I use to use that 3d Professor with Omega I thought it was sweet but have gone to cats with the 4.1's

It allows you to do Specific settings for each game.

im sure you will fine 1280x1024 with 4x aa and 16x af to be the sweet spot.

Quick guide:

1. Enable 16x AF (Performance is preferable, but go Quality if you find MIP-map bands annoying).
2. Crank up the AA as high as your framerate allows (4x is probably the sweet spot, as 6x doesn't look much better for its greater performance hit).

Enjoy. 🙂
