My little sister's 775 system kicked the bucket (or rather the motherboard did) and instead of spending $80 on a refurbished replacement I decided to spend a little more on a more modern platform.
I opted for a FM2 platform, specifically a Biostar A55MD2 and an AMD A4-5300. This is my first experience with an AMD processor since socket 754. I assembled the computer and got everything working and instead of installing Catalyst Control Center for the graphics it has installed AMD Vision Control Center. I figured this was just CCC for APUs however it is lacking one feature I really wanted to take advantage of; GPU overclocking. Under the performance tab it just gives me the option to adjust the CPU min and max clock rates but nothing regarding the GPU.
So my question is this; do I need to install CCC to adjust the GPU or is it just disabled for this low-end APU? Do I even need the Vision Control Center or can I uninstall it and just install the CCC?
