New to AMD

I've heard of many issues with MSI boards, and DFI boards perform great in overclocking but can be finicky; I went with ASUS. 🙂

My DFI experience has been pretty much the same as what the other fellow with a bag over his head said.

The MSI Neo4 treated me well, but can't OC as well as the DFI. More forgiving with RAM though.

ABIT = reliable and good tweaks, also use high quality components
ASUS = reliable, good BIOS, etc.
DFI = hardcore overclocking

I've never had problems with an ABIT board, and I've used them since the old Celeron A days. 🙂

All companies make good boards and bad boards. It really depends on what chipset you want, if you want pcie or agp, and how much you want to spend.

Abit, Gigabyte or Chaintech if you want a "solid" board.

If you want a shakey overclocker, go with DFI or MSI.

If you want just a piece of crap go with Asus.

Yes it does...
I just saw that the K8NS has the Nforce 4 chipset instead of the Via one the Asus board has. Therefore I pressume the Gigabyte is better, correct?
