Thanks for the tip! Fiddling with the prog right now and was able to extract the .SRT file, but I am unable to use it the way I was planning to. I learned that these files are a result of a prog called SubRip so I'm going to load them up in there to see if they actually contain the subs I'm looking for.

Here's the skinny on what I'm doing. Basically I'm using a prog called VideoLAN to run a client/server setup to play videos and audio on my server that will be streamed via broadband and UDP to another computer. I found the sweet spot for the video size and rez as well as the audio bitrate, but have been unable to poperly incorporate the subtitles into the the video (although an option to do so exists). Problem is that this particular video file is a .OGM and I can't do the regular 'ol right-click method to select the subtitles. Anybody who is familiar with this prog, has another streaming prog in mind, and/or are curious and would like to set up something similar and need some advice can respond or PM me. Thanks again MRF *salute*.

No luck with SubRip. It couldn't read the .SRT files at all. where did I go wrong? I just don't understand how come I can't stream a video file, locate the subtitle file and under the correct options and have it displayed in the stream. I'm doing everything right,,,
